Trash + Fashun + Culture + Art

DIY or DIE

Welcome to Fast Fashun online magazine.

Fast Fashun is an ongoing project that uses fashion as a means for social change, usually via in-person interactive community art events.

We’ve adapted this project during CV19 and turned it into an online publication. It lies somewhere between a DIY zine, Dolly magazine, a Women’s Weekly cookbook, Vogue, and BreadTube.

Fast Fashun magazine is curated and designed by Melbourne queer creatives Tenfingerz and Famous Artist Sebastian Berto.

We have invited collaborators from our communities to create commentary on the subjects of fashion, trash, climate, identity, social responsibility, the body, and current events. Our content creators are of all skill levels, from amateur to professional.

The Fast Fashun project centres queerness and social responsibility as the norm.

It is created on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin nation. We acknowledge our complicity in colonisation and our continued profiting from ongoing cultural genocide. We commit to paying the rent and to continuously striving to unpack our impact on this country and on First Nations peoples.
