Strut Your Stuff Saturdays will be held on the museum lawn
Kids workshops and Sensory Sundays will be held in the Mcintyre Theatre
Curtain Call is an interactive textile installation. There are three different kinds of events you can attend at Curtain Call:
Kids workshops: these are for children aged 4-12, and their carer or guardian
Strut Your Stuff Saturdays: this is an all-ages and abilities event
Sensory Sundays: this is a low-sensory exhibition with quiet crafting.

- at the venue there will be piles of clothing waste. These will be different types of clothes. They will be different colours and different textures.
- there will be tables and chairs
- there will be artists available to guide you through the space
- all events are relaxed, so you can come and go as you please
- there will be a curtain structure in the middle of the installation. It is made of old clothes
- you can touch the installation.

- there will be music playing.
- there will be a host who speaks on the microphone
- you will be invited to rummage through piles of clothing waste
- you will be invited to make a new outfit out of the clothing waste
- you can use scissors and safety pins
- you can style the clothes on your body or you can ask a friend or an artist if they will wear the clothes for you.

- this event is outdoors. There will be shade available
- you can participate in the activities or you can sit and watch
- there will be music playing
- there will be a host who speaks on the microphone
- there will be 5 artists roving around the space. You can ask them to help you if you need
- you will be invited to rummage through piles of clothing waste
- you will be invited to make a new outfit out of the clothing waste
- you can use scissors and safety pins
- you can use a sewing machine if you know how to
- you can style the clothes on your body or you can ask a friend or an artist if they will wear the clothes for you
- a catwalk show will happen every hour on the hour
- the catwalk will happen in front of the giant curtain
- you can showcase what you have made by wearing it on the catwalk
- you can choose not to do the catwalk
- you can sit and watch or listen to the catwalk
- there will be an emcee doing a live audio description of the catwalk
- you can help with the audio description by speaking on the microphone and describing what you see.

- this is a low-sensory exhibition day
- there are no performances
- artists will be sitting at tables showing people how to sew patches and do embroidery
- you can sit and sew with the artists
- you can sit and sew on your own
- you can just hang out in the space
- there will be an artist and a support worker there. they can take you through a touch tour of the installation
- you can access an audio description via a QR code. you will need headphones and a device to do this
- there will be gentle music playing.

- for the kids workshops you will get your ticket scanned at the door
- for Strut Your Stuff Saturdays and Sensory Sundays there will be no ticket scanning
- you can talk to an artist about access information
- you can explore the space at your own pace
- you can take a seat and watch other people interact with the space

- you can ask an artist what to do.

There will be a pre-recorded audio description of the installation available via QR code. Please bring headphones and a device to listen.
At the Saturday events there will be artists doing a live audio description for the entire event.

Access Support Workers are available and will provide meet and greet services to and from the installation They will be waiting at the Wright Lane entrance and Hunter Street entrance 30 mins prior to each session.
